She's found that the pattern of choosing and looping together beads is perfect for calming the mind and maintaining focus in meeting--rather like a prayer for the hands. This year, she is co-leading a workshop on handwork and spirituality. Dest's creations are a way for her to celebrate light and line and color in a way she hopes you enjoy--be it as a simple pair of earrings, a graceful necklace, or a decoration for your home. She regularly takes commissions, and almost anything she makes can be ordered in custom colors.
